Welcome to this month’s installment of the “I Do” Interviews! This month, our wedding series features Regan and Corey, who said their vows in September 2025. They chose to celebrate their ceremony at The Lawn and hosted their reception in the spectacular Harborview Ballroom with their friends and family.
This interview series is meant to give future couples a chance to hear the wonderful details of recent wedding experiences from those who have been there. Our lovely couples have agreed to share their stories so others can learn everything about their one-of-a-kind wedding and the planning process.

How did you meet?
We met on the train to the Red Sox parade in 2013 after the Sox won the World Series against the St. Louis Cardinals, four games to two!
Why Danversport?
Danversport was the only venue we looked at. We instantly fell in love. The Harborview Ballroom is the most beautiful room we have ever set foot in, with the water views and amazing chandeliers.

The most amazing night of our lives.

Walking into the room as husband and wife and seeing all of our loved ones cheering for us!
What’s a standout thing our team at Danversport did during your wedding day that you’ll never forget?
Literally everything, from the moment our day started to the moment it ended, someone was there for us and providing everything we needed for our dream day.
What about Danversport wow-ed your guests the most?
The food and the venue itself. We offered the signature hors doeuvres package as well as the Chicken Piccatta and the Braised Short Ribs. The waterfront views were also amazing, with boats and a blue sky, are breathtaking.
What menu items or cocktails were crowd favorites?
The Braised Short Ribs were top-notch!
Did you have a theme, color palette, or design inspiration for your wedding day?
Yes, our color theme was black tie. Our color palette was black and white with some touches of gold.
Did you do a first look, or wait for the aisle?
We waited for the aisle!
What’s one piece of advice you’d share with couples planning their wedding at Danversport?
The advice we would give other couples is to ask all the questions. Sometimes I felt as though I was being annoying with all the questions I asked, but my questions were always answered and no one made me feel like I was being a pain. I had a lot of questions.
Looking back, what’s the one thing you’re glad you did on your wedding day?
I’m glad that I extended our night by an extra hour.
