Welcome to this month’s installment of the “I Do” Interviews! This month, our wedding series features a lovely couple, Adriana and Stephen, who said their vows on a beautiful spring day in May 2025. They chose to celebrate their ceremony at the pergola and reception with us in the Lighthouse Point Ballroom with their close family and friends.
This interview series is meant to give future couples a chance to hear the wonderful details of wedding experiences from those who have recently been there. Our lovely couples have agreed to share their stories so others can learn everything about their one-of-a-kind wedding and the planning process.

Wedding Date – May 2025
Event Space – We had our ceremony at the pergola and then used the Lighthouse Point Ballroom for our reception.
Where are you originally from?
I am originally from Medford, MA and my husband is from Arlington, MA.
What do you do for work?
I am a nurse and Stephen is a Dietitian.
How did you meet your bride or groom?
We met working at a rehab hospital in Woburn, MA, in the peak of COVID and everything just felt so right. We just knew we would be together forever.
What made you choose Danversport, and this venue/room specifically?
We chose Danversport for the beautiful water views and the all-inclusive packages. Ron and the team made the whole process stress-free and magical.
How many guests did you have in attendance, roughly?
Approximately 45 of our close family and friends were at our wedding reception and ceremony.
What did you offer for food/drink catering?
We offered a delicious sit-down dinner with prime rib of beef or Tuscan chicken with an open bar.
What was the most magical, moving, or special part of the wedding for you?
The most magical moment was saying “I do” by the pergola with our family and friends right by the water. We were lucky enough to have clear skies and a gorgeous view.
What was the song you danced to for your first dance?
We danced to “From the Ground Up” by Dan & Shay.
Did your wedding have a theme?
Our theme was “Blue,” like the Florida beaches, which is where we like to travel in the summer to visit family.
What style was your dress?
My dress was laced with pearls. I wore my mom’s wedding dress from 28 years ago!
Who walked you down the aisle?
My father walked me down the aisle.
What are/were your plans for your honeymoon?
We flew to Barcelona, Spain, to get aboard a 7-day Mediterranean cruise.
