They chose to celebrate their ceremony at the pergola and reception with us in the <\/span>Lighthouse Point Ballroom<\/span><\/a> with their close family and friends.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This interview series is meant to give future couples a chance to hear the wonderful details of wedding experiences from those who have recently been there. Our lovely couples have agreed to share their stories so others can learn everything about their one-of-a-kind wedding and the planning process.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wedding Date<\/b> – October 2024<\/span><\/p>\n

Event Space<\/b> – We had our ceremony at the Pergola and then used the Lighthouse Point Ballroom for our reception.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Where are you originally from? <\/b><\/p>\n

I am originally from Newton, MA and Ajani is from Dedham, MA.<\/span><\/p>\n

What do you do for work?<\/b><\/p>\n

I am a baker who specializes in wedding cakes and Ajani is a pharmacy technician and a software engineer.<\/span><\/p>\n

How did you meet your bride or groom?<\/b><\/p>\n

We met online. We swiped right on each other and from that day on we haven\u2019t left each other’s side!<\/span><\/p>\n

What made you choose Danversport, and this venue\/room specifically?<\/b><\/p>\n

As soon as we stepped foot on the property, we knew! The grounds were so well kept and the scenery was perfect. The ballrooms were all magical and when we settled on which event space we liked most, we knew it was right! It was very intimate and the decor inside was beautiful.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Shayna\"<\/b><\/p>\n

How many guests did you have in attendance roughly?<\/b><\/p>\n

We had approximately 55 of our close family and friends at our wedding reception and ceremony.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What did you offer for food\/drink catering?<\/b><\/p>\n

We offered the signature appetizer package along with the Italian wedding soup and harvest salad. Salmon and filet mignon were served as the main dishes. It was all so delicious!<\/span><\/p>\n

What was the most magical, moving, or special part of the wedding for you?<\/b><\/p>\n

Everything!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After being together for six years and planning everything for over a year, the day was so magical and it was most definitely worth the wait. Having all the important people close to us there made it even more special.<\/span><\/p>\n

What was the song you danced to for your first dance?<\/b><\/p>\n

We danced to \u201cMarry Me\u201d by Train. It was the song played while he proposed. It was such a special moment.<\/span><\/p>\n

Did your wedding have a theme?\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Since fall is my favorite season, we chose colors that fit the fall theme – oranges, blues, and gold. It all came together perfectly.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Shayna<\/b><\/p>\n

What style was your dress?\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

My dress was a strapless, lace, corset ballgown. It fit the \u201cromantic\u201d vibe I was looking for perfectly.<\/span><\/p>\n

Who walked you down the aisle?<\/b><\/p>\n

My father walked me down the aisle.<\/span><\/p>\n

What are\/were your plans for your honeymoon?<\/b><\/p>\n

We went up to New Hampshire which was beautiful during the fall. We went on so many adventures and enjoyed the peace and quiet in our gorgeous inn.<\/span><\/p>\n
