Welcome to this month\u2019s installment of the \u201cI Do\u201d Interviews! This month our wedding series features a wonderful couple, Jacqui and Tim, who said their vows in December of 2022. They chose to celebrate their reception with us in the Terrace and Waterfront Ballroom combination with their 160 family members and friends who all shared in their joy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This interview series is meant to give future couples a chance to hear the wonderful details of wedding experiences from those who have recently been there. Our lovely couples have agreed to share their stories so others can learn everything about their one-of-a-kind wedding and the planning process.<\/span><\/p>\n

Responses have been edited for length and clarity.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Jacqui and Tim\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Wedding Date – <\/b>December 2022<\/span><\/p>\n

Event Space<\/b> – We used the Terrace Ballroom and the Waterfront Room combination at Danversport. It was lovely!<\/span><\/p>\n

Where are you originally from? <\/b><\/p>\n

We are both from the North Shore of Massachusetts – Wilmington and Reading.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What do you do for work?<\/b><\/p>\n

I am a Physical Therapist and my other half works in the news.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How did you meet your bride or groom?<\/b><\/p>\n

We met on an online dating app as many couples do nowadays.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What made you choose Danversport, and this venue\/room specifically?<\/b><\/p>\n

When we went looking for venues, we both were looking for somewhere that would take the burden off of us. Danversport did just that! It was comforting that if we needed to change the date due to family issues we could transfer our deposit.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How many guests did you have in attendance roughly?<\/b><\/p>\n

We had 160 friends and family members on our wedding day.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What did you offer for food\/drink catering?<\/b><\/p>\n

We did an open bar and offered a <\/span>filet mignon and cider-glazed chicken for our meals<\/span>. Guests were very happy with the choices!<\/span><\/p>\n

What was the most magical, moving, or special part of the wedding for you?<\/b><\/p>\n

We loved that our venue truly took all the stress out of our wedding day. We did a first look at the venue and then came back after and enjoyed every moment of the reception! All our friends loved having a winter wedding to go to!<\/span><\/p>\n

What was the song you danced to for your first dance?<\/b><\/p>\n

We danced our first dance to \u201cBeautiful Crazy.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What style was your dress?\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

I wore a classic wedding dress with a fur shawl to complete the look.<\/span><\/p>\n

Who walked you down the aisle?<\/b><\/p>\n

My father walked me down the aisle.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What are\/were your plans for your honeymoon?<\/b><\/p>\n

We went to the beautiful islands of Hawaii for two weeks!<\/span><\/p>\n

Happily Ever After\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Congratulations to Jacqui and Tim! This stunning couple shared a beautiful winter day with family and friends along the waterfront celebrating their love. We wish this special couple a lifetime of happiness together.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
