Welcome to this month\u2019s installment of the \u201cI Do\u201d Interviews! This month our wedding series features a lovely couple, Nicole and Bobby, who said their vows on a crisp fall day in November of last year. They chose to celebrate their reception with us in the beautiful Terrace Ballroom with their 160 family members and friends who all shared in their joy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This interview series is meant to give future couples a chance to hear the wonderful details of wedding experiences from those who have recently been there. Our lovely couples have agreed to share their stories so others can learn everything about their one-of-a-kind wedding and the planning process.<\/span><\/p>\n

Responses have been edited for length and clarity.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Nicole & Bobby\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Wedding Date – <\/b>November 19, 2022<\/span><\/p>\n

Event Space – Our ceremony was at St. Mary of the Annunciation Church and our reception was at Danversport in the Terrace Ballroom.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Where are you originally from? <\/b><\/p>\n

I\u2019m from Winchester, Massachusetts, and Bobby is from Rutland, Massachusetts.<\/span><\/p>\n

What do you do for work?<\/b><\/p>\n

I work in marketing for a consulting company for sustainability and Bobby is a senior accountant at a communications company.<\/span><\/p>\n

How did you meet your bride or groom?<\/b><\/p>\n

We met at college at Bentley University. We met through mutual friends!<\/span><\/p>\n

What made you choose Danversport, and this venue\/room specifically?<\/b><\/p>\n

The kind staff and the beautiful chandeliers were very charming! The stunning water views and the harbor background were simply unbeatable.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How many guests did you have in attendance roughly?<\/b><\/p>\n

We had approximately 160 friends and family members on our wedding day.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What did you offer for food\/drink catering?<\/b><\/p>\n

We offered our guests the classic hors d\u2019oeuvres and added a Charcuterie board as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

For our main course, we offered a choice of Atlantic salmon, chicken piccata, or vegetarian edamame dumplings. Everyone loved the food options!<\/span><\/p>\n

What was the most magical, moving, or special part of the wedding for you?<\/b><\/p>\n

The speeches were the most moving part of the whole day! Our matron and maid of honor, best man, and my dad brought us both to tears.<\/span><\/p>\n

Did you have a wedding theme?<\/b><\/p>\n

Our theme was rust and navy with touches of gold throughout. We had copper and cream roses for our flowers!<\/span><\/p>\n

What was the song you danced to for your first dance?<\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cIf I Ain\u2019t Got You\u201d by Alicia Keys was our first dance. We always belt this song out in the car together over our 6 years of dating. We certainly did on our wedding day as well!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What style was your dress?\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

I wanted to look like a princess, so my dress was an A-line with a sweetheart neckline and a train of course!<\/span><\/p>\n

Who walked you down the aisle?<\/b><\/p>\n

My dad walked me down the aisle. He\u2019s my favorite person ever and my false eyelashes fell off from crying during his speech.<\/span><\/p>\n

What are\/were your plans for your honeymoon?<\/b><\/p>\n

We went to St. Lucia for a week and it was so beautiful! We enjoyed a catamaran cruise, a tropical couples massage, and went on a hike.<\/span><\/p>\n

Congratulations to Nicole and Bobby! This lovely couple shared a beautiful fall day with family and friends along the waterfront celebrating their love. The speeches touched each and every guest and not a dry eye could be found for this special moment. We wish this lovely couple a lifetime of happiness together.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
