Welcome to the latest installment of the \u201cI Do\u201d Interviews! This month our wedding series features a wonderful couple, Amanda and Curtis, who said their vows on a beautiful June day at Danversport.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This wedding interview series is meant to give future couples a chance to hear the wonderful details of wedding experiences from those who have recently been there. Our lovely couples have agreed to share their stories so others can learn about everything from their one-of-a-kind wedding, to their incredible partner, at a picture-perfect venue.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Amanda and Curtis began their big day making their promises to each other in front of close friends and family under the gazebo along the spectacular beauty of the Danversport waterfront. For the reception they moved the celebration indoors to the Harborview ballroom where everyone enjoyed dining and dancing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The ceremony was held outdoors under the gazebo and the reception took place in the Harborview ballroom.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Where are you originally from?<\/b> I am originally from Revere, Massachusetts.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What do you do for work?<\/b> I am in the healthcare field specializing in Hospital Billing.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How did you meet your bride or groom?<\/b> He was working at Finish Line and I met him there.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What made you choose Danversport, and this venue\/room specifically?<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We loved the gorgeous venue and the amazingly accommodating staff!<\/span><\/p>\n

How many guests did you have in attendance roughly?<\/b>
\n<\/span>We had approximately 109 guests at our wedding.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What did you offer for food\/drink catering?<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We began our reception with passed hor devours and a Sangria station, perfect for a summer wedding. As starters to our meal, we offered pasta and Cesar salad. The main dishes were a choice of Statler Chicken or Filet Mignon. To finish off the reception we had a chocolate fountain and a sweets table.<\/span><\/p>\n

What was the most magical, moving or special part of the wedding for you?<\/b> The beautiful ceremony outside at the gazebo! It was perfect!<\/span><\/p>\n

Did you have a wedding theme?<\/b> As you can see in our pictures we had light blue and ivory as our color theme.<\/span><\/p>\n

What type of style was your dress?<\/b> My dress was a wonderful A-line.<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

What was the song you danced to for your first dance?<\/b>
\n<\/span>We danced to \u201cFrom the Ground Up\u201d by Dan and Shay<\/span><\/p>\n

Who walked you down the aisle?<\/b> My dad walked me down the aisle.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What are\/were your plans for your honeymoon?<\/b> We are headed to the happy island of Aruba!<\/span><\/p>\n

Happily Ever After\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Every good love story should involve saying \u201cI Do\u201d along the waterfront and vacationing on a tropical island. Amanda and Curtis celebrated their union with their closest family and friends. They dined on scrumptious appetizers and main dishes prepared by the Danversport chefs and danced to their favorite songs. After a honeymoon on the island of Aruba, they will begin their happily ever after. We are so glad we were able to be a part of this momentous event.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
