Tapas Menus: A Great Alternative to Dinner for Any Size Event

February 23, 2019

At Danversport Yacht Club, we just held a Tapas Event for a large group of guests. At this event, we served hors d’oeuvres for guests to eat throughout the evening. The Tapas style was a huge hit, and we wanted to write a blog about it to encourage other venue seekers towards this awesome menu idea.

Sometimes a three-course meal is not necessary to offer guests. When hosting events, sometimes people think its necessary to offer a ton of food, open bar, and a lot of options to choose from. Not all events have to be fully catered, and some of the time guests actually prefer to just munch. Getting a small taste of a variety of things is always exciting for everyone.

At our tapas events, we can serve your guests with a variety of offerings. International Cheese, Vegetable Crudité, Stuffed Mushroom Caps, Coconut Chicken, Beef Satay Skewers, Vegetable Spring Rolls, Scallops Wrapped in Bacon, Spanikopita, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Mini Crab Cakes, and so much more.

This tapas event is a change up from your traditional event offerings. This type of menu and style of event allows people to move and mingle about. With light dancing and awesome company, your guests will love snacking throughout the night. Not everyone wants to always sit down and eat a meal when they’re out celebrating at an event. Depending on the event, a Tapas menu could be just what you need to curate an amazing night.

What event are you holding next? Corporate events, large holiday parties, and almost any type of function, formal or not, can be perfect for a tapas menu. Most people assume a Tapas event is only fit for a small gathering, but in reality, this style of menu suits large groups just as well. Check out our suggested menus on our website, and see a full list of our offerings and packages. Contact us at Danversport Yacht Club for questions.
